At Sinister Coffee and Creamery we love ice cream, coffee and a good paranormal story. This most recent encounter was submitted to us from someone in Georgia who lost a close relative who’s energy is felt to this day in the family vineyard. We appreciate the opportunity to recount her story and experiences.
All of us have had some experience or encounter that makes us take a fresh look at something we hadn't previously considered. This is the retelling of just one of those experiences that made a family vineyard owner consider the possibilities.
My Experience With the Paranormal
Hello my name is Lasonya and I'm a 46 year old mother of 4. I recently acquired my grandfather's Muscadine orchard. The patch of grapes I was picking on this day is called Rosalyn row. Rosayln was one of my favorite Aunties. She died in a tragic car accident in 2004. That strip of grapes is named after her because when she was younger she liked to pick grapes on these rows, and she got stung by a wasp there.
The Orchard COnnection
So about 2 weeks ago I got stung by a wasp picking grapes. Then last Saturday my family and I went out in the orchard to pick grapes. My boyfriend was trying to show me this marble looking grape he picked off the vine. But at that same time I was getting attacked by a wasp AGAIN. I took off running, I got stung and the grape goes flying in the bucket. I put some cigarette tobacco on my stings, and went back to picking grapes. When I was done I came home and paid my son to bag up all the grapes and we put them the fridge.
The Beauty in the Grapes
My boyfriend went in the kitchen and low and behold this funny marble looking grape was left in the bucket. He picked it up and brought it to me. On the grape is the number 3 and the letter D. My aunt Rosayln was the 3rd daughter. I have the grape frozen. I think she in the orchard playing.
