Below is a simple, powerful candle ritual paired with a moon water ceremony you can do at home.

What You’ll Need

• Candle: White (clarity), black (protection), or silver (moon energy)

• Heat-safe holder and matches or a lighter

• A small bowl or jar of water (filtered or spring water is ideal)

• Optional: journal, pen, crystals (clear quartz, moonstone), herbs (rosemary or bay)

The Candle Ritual

1. Prepare the Space
   Dim the lights. Take a few slow breaths. Let the quiet of winter settle you.

2. Set Your Intention
   Write one clear intention—something you want to strengthen or stabilize (confidence, boundaries, discipline, resilience).

3. Light the Candle
   As you light the flame, speak your intention aloud. Keep it simple and present-tense.

4. Focus & Release
   Gaze at the flame for 5–10 minutes. Visualize your intention taking root. When you’re ready, let the candle burn safely (or extinguish with gratitude).

The Moon Water Ceremony

1. Charge the Water
   Place your jar or bowl of water where it can absorb the moonlight—outside or on a windowsill.

2. Infuse with Intention
   Hold the container and say:
   “By the light of the Wolf Moon, may this water carry clarity, strength, and steady purpose.”

3. Overnight Magic
   Leave the water to charge through the night.

4. Use with Intention
   The next day, sip a little, add it to tea, anoint your wrists, or sprinkle it on your altar—each use reinforcing your intention.

On the first night of Yule, psychic and tarot reader Darcie will lead us in the ceremonial lighting of the Sinister Yule Log — a symbol of warmth, renewal, protection, and the returning light.

🔥 A Week of Gathering Intentions

Throughout the week leading up to the ceremony, guests are invited to visit Sinister to:

• Add a candle to the community offering

• Share a written prayer or personal intention

• Contribute blessings for the year ahead

• Call in protection, abundance, clarity, or new beginnings

These collective intentions will be lovingly gathered and included in the Yule Log ritual, weaving everyone’s wishes into a powerful, communal flame.
